The Electric Purple Wildflower deep plate
This plate combines my love for the color purple and locally foraged flora.
Drawing from my earliest memories of one day living in a purple house with my best friend, this colour holds a special place in my heart. Coupled with my background growing up in the forest, studying botany at university, and delving into herbalism as a hobby, each plate is a blend of my personal journey with artistic expression.
Every plate is hand-built, with delicate wildflowers sourced locally and pressed into the clay with care. Following the initial creation, the plate undergoes a bisque firing, hand painting with underglaze, and a subsequent firing to ensure lasting quality. A final touch of food-safe, matte-clear glaze completes the piece, encapsulating the beauty of local flora.
