About

I am Rebecca, the maker behind this work. Alongside my partner, three kids, and energetic black lab, I live in a small town in North Western Ontario, surrounded by the beauty of the Canadian Shield, where wilderness adventures are our way of life.

Hiking through rugged trails, foraging for local flora, and indulging in the simple joy of berry picking are moments that inspire my work. Drawing from the rich tapestry that surrounds me, I forage and press wildflowers into many of my pieces, infusing them with the spirit of the outdoors.

Beyond pottery, I enjoy nurturing a very healthy houseplant collection of over 150 and tending to summer gardens. As a seasoned swimmer, the challenge of open water excites me, as I gear up to swim across more remote lakes than the eight I crossed last season.

When winter descends, the ritual of saunas followed by cold-water plunges through the ice invigorate both body and soul. These seasonal contrasts mirror the balance I seek in my craft – the harmony of nature's raw beauty with the warmth of handmade pottery.

Welcome to my world, where pottery is not just a creation but a reflection of my love for the outdoors and the wonders it brings.
